Cressman’s experience as a features editor for the school paper, the Muhlenberg Weekly, writing about trends in music, prepared him well for a distinguished correspondence while on active duty in the Navy. Many of Cressman’s writings were actual articles that were published in the Alumni Magazine. The correspondence between the Alumni Office and Cressman amassed more than 51 letters, some four or five pages in length.
