Nies writes of his life as a Marine from his training at Quantico to his duties in and around the Pacific, including Guam and Japan. He offers one man’s perspective on the aftermath of the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki. He shares an undying devotion to Muhlenberg athletics and a keen aversion to the College going coed.
